The Calasanz Movement is the communion of groups from different Demarcations throughout the Piarist geography, united in a common educational and evangelisation project inspired by the spirit and style of Calasanz.

This Movement aims to strengthen the realities that already exist, to link them together, to enrich each other, to strengthen the Piarist identity and to offer a pastoral horizon to those who need it at this time. It is an ongoing programme with different experiences and for all ages, which aims to allow a personal process of discovery and maturation of one’s vocation lived in the group, as well as a clear ecclesial involvement.

This process explicitly includes the Piarist offer of the Piarist schools, especially in religious life and in the Piarist Fraternity.

The general team of the Calasanz Movement helps the groups that emerge in each Piarist demarcation to connect with the network, to grow in Piarist identity and to consolidate themselves as a project.

It is coordinated by Roland Márkus of the Hungarian Province.
