From May 9 to 19, 6 directors of the educational centers of the Delegation of Chile traveled to Spain to experience Module 2 of Formation in Calasanzian Identity in the company of Father Miguel del Cerro. They will know a series of pedagogical and Calasanzian experiences in the schools of Zaragoza, Pamplona, Logroño, Barbastro, Jaca, and the Sanctuary of Peralta de la Sal.
During their visit, the directors engaged in fruitful discussions on a wide range of topics. These included attention to diversity, innovation in education, pastoral care, autism, the implementation of multi-sensory classrooms, and the pursuit of educational quality.
In this second version -the first was held in 2017- we have traveled to Mrs. Sandra Mancilla (Director of Calasanz), Francisca Prieto (Children’s Coordinator of Calasanz), Nacil Castellano (Responsible for Economic Management of the Delegation), Claudia Mayorga (Secretary and Coordinator of Basic of Hispano Americano), Susana Rodríguez (Delegate of the Sustainer of the Instituto del Puerto), Ruth Carreño (Coordinator of Children of the Instituto del Puerto) and María José Pérez (Delegate of the Sustainer of Calasanz-Curarrehue).
The preparation of this module was a collaborative effort, with key contributions from José Garín, the Coordinator of the Emmaus-Aragon Schools, Gloria Ruiz, the Provincial Delegate of Schools of the Province of Emmaus, and Father Jesús Elizari. Their expertise and dedication were instrumental in ensuring the success of this educational endeavor.
We hope that this experience will be very fruitful and profitable for both the participants and our schools when they return.
